The Safe Travel Stamp was awarded to the state of Riviera Nayarit, which was the first of many locations in Mexico that received this honor. The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) recognizes where updated health and hygiene procedures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) have been implemented. The United States Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has also provided recommendations along with WHO for businesses that are ready to reopen post-COVID. Riviera Nayarit was actually one of the first destinations to be a Safe Travel Stamp winner, which was given by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). Riviera Nayarit is where you can find the beautiful beach neighborhood of Nuevo Vallarta. Villa La Estancia is located in this exclusive beachfront community. The Nayarit government is now allowing hotels and resorts to reopen as of June 15th, 2020, and they will only be operating at 30% in order to monitor the success of reopening.
